Transgender people didn’t wake up one day and just decide to be the opposite gender.

*Disclaimer This is a controversial sub especially in the transgender communit. I will have my own opinions in here based on facts. If you don’t like it don’t read it unless you want to understand both sides.

I am not transgender because it is trendy!

Men and Women have different brains. While the brain as whole may not be complete different parts of it are. This is not a new thing from children rimes boys are from Mars and Women are from Venus to the whole Women are like spaghetti and Men are like waffles. People can tell that things in our mind set us apart from the opposite sex.

What happens when someone born one sex get’s the brain of the opposite sex?

If you have kept up with me so far you understand the basics of being transgender. When your brain does not match up with your body you get gender dysphoria. This is acting what you get diagnosed with when your transgender. People who are not actually transgender can get gender dysphoria by trying to be the opposite gender even if they are not transgender. If you are transgender and do get gender dysphoria there are ways to cope and deal with it. There isn't a cure that will take it away complete, but hormones help a lot. Science you can't change what the brain is the easiest thing to do is to change the body to match your brain. If you can't afford or get on hormones at the moment there are still things you can do. If you can transition, but can't afford hormones do it without hormones. Some people transitions without hormones just because of personal preference. Hormones can be dangerous and should never be done without the help of a doctor. If you transition without hormones and you are mtf you can wear a padded bra, grow out your hair, shave your legs, wax your eyebrows, wear makeup, wear clothes that you like, and have people use the correct pronouns to make yourself feel better and to help treat you gender dysphoria. If you are ftm you can cut your short, stop wearing makeup, wear a binder, stop shaving, wear clothes you feel comfortable in, and have people use the correct pronouns. If you can't transition the first thing you can do is see if you can grow or cut your hair to your prefered length. If you are ftm it is easier to get a hold and wear male clothes or more "manly" clothes. If you have a strict parent find a hiding place in your room if you have none make one and go to goodwill or other second hand store to get some cheap clothes. Do the same if you are mtf. You can also hide some stuff at a friends house if you have a friend you can trust enough trust them to tell them that you are transgender. If you want to get makeup you can pretend you are buying for a friend or girlfriend or get someone to buy it for you. I really want to make a shop on here for clothes and makeup amongst other things and have a private feature so that if you buy something and someone opens your package they won't know what it is unless they dig through it.
